Choji is the Japanese word for "Cloves". Designs come from
a book of Ancient Japanese Family Crests. A certain amount
of artistic license has been taken with each of the "Crests".
Elements have been either added or deleted to make them more
"appliqué friendly". Most are relatively quick to make.
Individual blocks can be used as small wall hangings, for a
special someone, or you can even combine several for a larger
"sampler" quilt. |
