Just Playin

A new design by Linda debuted at Quilt Market in Houston. This is a darling quilt featuring a cat and a bird on a window with a mouse. The background is pieced and the animals appliquéd. She made the quilt for David Textiles and it was featured in an exhibit for Quilts for Kids at Market and Festival. Quilt is 40" x 45".

My Cat's Garden

Maggie has again created a wonderful block of the month design, this time depicting cats playing
in a garden setting.

Ten cats protect and play with a variety of orchids against a backdrop of reflective marble. Cats are sleeping, climbing, scratching and observing the world about them. A center medallion features a male and female enjoying a lush garden while the sun breaks through the misty sky of a new day.

This is a 9 month series for the intermediate to advanced appliqué artist.
